Everything about e-chat seems very basic. There is a place to log in or sign up, but again it’s just very cut and dry. When you put in your name it takes you to a list of chat rooms on the site. I am very pleasantly surprised that there are quite a few rooms and most of them seem to be nicely populated. This site doesn’t state that it is 18 plus, however it does seem to be the theme.

This site is supposed to be family friendly, and therefore allows adults and teenagers to chat here in the same set of rooms, this is always a big red flag. I've yet to come across a family friendly chat site that was well maintained and could safely support teen chat rooms, could this be the one...
Wireclub is one of those chat sites that I think has been around for a while, but no one ever talks about. It’s interactive, and has fun things, but there is a lot to be desired when it comes to making a connection with anyone there. There are games and forums on this site as well. This site is one of the few that you actually have to register to be able to use. It also seems to be family friendly.
Y99 Chat popped up on in Google relatively high for common chat keywords, so they must be doing something right and the chat rooms should be active. It doesn’t give you a large amount of information before you enter the site, however once in the site there are articles written by chatters that are awesome guides.
Mocospace is the first chat site I have been where they insist you register before even trying it and require payment. The homepage seems the most professional, however there are several things that I absolutely hate about it from the start. Mostly that they post my location to get into the chat rooms. This could be a deal breaker for some.
Chat Avenue is an old well established chat site, there isn't really anything that catches the eye. It seems, off the bat, that this is a chat site for everyone, with a teen and even a kids room. However right under the passage that says that it’s for everyone, there is an ad for free sex cam girls.
